Multistage pumps
Multistage pumps are used in water supply, irrigation, wastewater systems, water treatment,
condensed matter transport, municipal water supply, supplying water to steam boilers
and raising water pressure in the network.
Applications
This series of pumps is mainly used for
mine dewatering and
paper mill industries. It is also used for applications such as : Water distribution systems, irrigation,
in line pressure boost systems, and pumping a wide variety of fluids including fresh,
salt and demineralised water, emotions and oils at high temperatures and pressure.
Materials of construction
The standard build MH and MHV series pumps are supplied with : suction and discharge casings, intermediated casings, impellers, diffusers and
supports constructed from cast iron, driveshafts and sleeves from chrome steel. The high pressure MHR series pumps are
supplied as standard, with spheroidal cast iron discharge and intermediate casing. The MH series pumps can be supplied with
wetted components, manufactured from a wide variety of materials to match the fluid conveyed, ie : alloyed cast iron, bronze, carbon steel and stainless steel.
