Design and creation of a water treatment system to be installed in a tunnel under construction. With a capacity of 450 GPM, this system eliminates sedimentation in the dewatering piping, eliminates the discharge line cleaning process, and facilitates water treatment at the final treatment plant.
Design and supply of a dewatering system for a mine in the Northwest Territories. The main goal of this concept was to optimize the dewatering system of the mine, using a Mudwizard. The ingenuity of this system has reduced the need for the operation of the 400HP pumps, reducing diesel consumption by more than $ 700,000 per year on the site.
The challenge was to manage the project according to the temperature (the quantity of water to be treated during snowmelt is voluminous), and this in a significant time issue. Globally, 45 to 60 days was enough to deliver a project of 105 crates of equipment and 6 Mudwizard cones on 25 trucks.
3,800 hours of manufacturing, assembly, welding and preparation for final delivery were required, in addition to 700 hours completed by our engineering team.
Design and fabrication of a pumping station operated with 2 Technojet MH40-65 / 7 stages supported by a Mudwizard system of 400 gallons per minute. The pumps operate in automatic mode using a level probe. Pump # 1 is turned on when the tank is full and pump # 2 is acting as a backup when the outflow is less than the inflow. The pumps are assembled with a 125HP 3600RPM engine.
